Oh man! Simply AMAZING!!!! To be honest I wasn't expecting it to be as packed as it was. I was told it was close to 1500 people. :eyes: All the rooms were going off. Great sets by everyone and nice to see so many familiar faces, and even many more new ones.

Wow. :eyes: It was so damn hard, you can almost call it a WOODY! :D OK, corny joke... hehehehe Yeah, I got a little carried away, so I slowed it down. It was one of those weird sets where I played music for everyone. I played everything from house to trance to TECHNO!!! OMG!!! When I played Techno that was when the room exploded!!! :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: Hint Hint... ;) Maybe I should play more techno. Anyways, I had a blast! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!

i'm gonna copy & post what i wrote on myspace about last nite:
Last nite was a reminder of why i dont drink. i had 2 red bull vodka's which was bad enough for me, then i had something else with tequila in it. i HATE tequila with a passion. i couldnt even finish it. every time i smell it, or even get near it, i get dizzy. i got home, threw up majorly, and i dont mean just gagging.... I PUKED MY BRAINS OUT!
ughhh my head is still spinning. i just tried to eat in hopes of feeling better. not working.
sorry i had to share that with u guys...... cant wait to get into my bed and pass out again. :( |

You say you don't drink but it seems like in all of your "reviews" yo u mention getting hammered after like two drinks, lol.

well, here is my review.
i was at a coffee shop with a friend last nite, when talin begged me to go to spundae. so i left the coffee shop, parked my car at home, and walked over to spundae. Got there around 9:45.
i was pleasently SHOCKED to see Mike spinning in the main room. Good to hear u spin again, it's been a while! :) I thought i wouldnt see anyone i know, everyone was gonna be @ WMC. Then I see Rauol, HYPERSKY... another major shock. GPC and his gf, Austin Scott (in hot ;))..... he has ALOT of talent to spin with ONE hand. His set wasnt too melodic/trancey, which was good. It was actually kinda electroish... Maybe he didnt play too melodic cuz he knew I was there? haha jk Or maybe he did play trancey but i was too drunk to notice :(
(i'm still sick u guys, so sorry about this post in advance)
My memory started getting really blurry by 11pm when Woody started playing in the back room, but i somehow went back there to support him and danced my ass off. Song of the nite in his set Dariush- Ira... that song is a classic, totally old skool Picotto style! ;)
I dont even know what time it was, like maybe 12am, when i left. Talin walked me home. I was so srunk that if a cracked out transvestite freak came up to me while I was walking home, i probably would have went home with him or her. lol jk, but i was pretty bad.
Last nite was a good lesson.... NEVER DRINK MORE THAN 1 DRINK, cuz that's all I need to get a good buzz. I hate getting wasted. :sadgreen:
oh ya, and i blame Rauol for buying me my 2nd drink! lol damn u! |

i do get drunk every now & then, but last nite was beyond wasted. i had THREE drinks, which is 2 too many than normal. i havent thrown up in YEARS! :( |

What a fantastic night the locals need to play more often at Spundae. First of all here's my mini review, I got there a little before Gil Las' set, I didn't get to see too much of his set because I was headed towards the back room to hear D'MORSE, But I heard Gil La played a real good set which I believe cause the last time I heard him play his set was off the hook! WOW! the back room was on fire last night, D'MORSE was amazing his set just hypnotized us all. In the middle of his set I looked out to find the floor packed. Everytime I see this guy he brings this energy to a room that's amazing he reads a crowd well, that boy has a gift! I was so tired from dancing after We were done I went to the main room saw Victor finishing up, He sounded great.I got to see some of Bobs set. Keep up the good work Bob! At this point it was definately past my bedtime. :o By the way Mike I didnt get to see you play. But I definitely look forward to your Main Room Performance in April.
