I wasn't trying to be a dick really, just wondering what the point of his posting this was... Most of us already knew about Sonic.

And I'm thinking you're just gonna be mean to me and Tag when we show up to see Yoji   :(

be mean?? nah, I am not mean..tag/lopi 4 life ;) lol
I was only mean simply cuz you were trying to be a dick as you put it yourself above :p

Call me an knob for actually wanting a club in my hometown that stands for the same principals as MTL's best club! Obviously Stereo is legendary, and arguably one of the best clubs in the world... but the man behind Stereo now has a project that is even more so HIS club. He has complete control over every aspect, and forgive me for being excited about what this guy brings to the table!

The main point of the post was to let all of you MTLTA's that you now have a club worthy of the drive to Toronto, and that you will feel VERY much at home when it comes to the vibe, music, and people this club will attract. Besides, the grand opening lineup was released today, and i honestly wasn't aware [i]most of you[i] already knew about the club.

agreed, but unless they gutted the place and knocked down everything you will never be able to get the same sound as the "box"...

I just cant believe he decided to go with that area...

ultimately, it is the space that he went with.... not the area. the area at first, i admit, does seem tres sketch. but once you get used to the surroundings, it actually isnt a bad area at all. i feel safer walking down spadina @ 1am than i do down richmond @ 11pm.....

it's about time that TO gets something that is worthy spending your time and money in. i highly doubt it will come anywhere close to mtl standards but hopefully it will be better than what we have now.

Wow, so many people with their panties in a knot...

The only comparison Jeff is making to stereo is that Sonic is hoping to be TO's best venue because of its sound, just like Stereo is Mtl's best venue because of its sound.
