Yeah I was reading that too. 1 in 4 men now have one of the two strains of Herpes in North America and 1 in 5 women.
two things freak me out. knee injuries and herpes/other std's. therefore I would not cheat based on those figures alone. I would also never cheat because I've had it done to me and it felt like . I would never want to do that to someone I love. |

In my observation, I have seen a general trend from 'don't lie', to 'don't get caught lying' among various segments of population. Not just in relationship, but among other things, like evading taxes or lying to boss, whatever.
Correspondently I have spoken to guys who are willing to go for one night stands even with a steady gf. (What happens in another area code, stays in area code...) Combine that with such high divorce rate these days...
Sad really.
This general lack of integrity is like a slow rot in the society. Things like loyalty you can't buy, at least true loyalty. You'd think such things are valued, but often I have seen them scorned. |

I agree with ya. If my girl cheated on me then it would end the relationship. Relationships are built of mutual respect, and if I can't respect my girl by not cheating on her, then is there really any relationship to begin with.
PS. I have never cheated on my girl in the three years we have been together. |

I agree with you 100%
Cheating, even if it seems "innocent", completely breaks the trust in a relationship. It'd be so hard to continue loving and trusting the person after they do something like that...
For the cheating Guys/Girls - just think if your girl/guy was doing that you were doing and how it'd make you feel. Hopefully you'd think twice before doing anything stupid.
You can work so hard at a relationship then f**k it up in a matter of seconds.
PS I hope that article isn't true... we need more input from the guys... although they'd probably never admit anyway :rolleyes: |
