Question #2: Who thinks cheating starts as soon as you cross that "line" (ie: flirting with the intention to have sex, kissing, etc), and who thinks cheating= sex/forepley, etc?

I think the fine lines of cheating is crossed when a person is always thinking about and wanting to spend more time in the presence of a person who isn't their significant other....

If it's not that emotionally deep, then I think even just kissing or flirting with the intention of hooking up is cheating. Cheating is such a strong word for that but it is what it is and it'd definielty make a person feel betrayed, foolish and just livid.

now THAT I definately don't believe....seeing as I have been tempted many times myself (but never have).

I think that it more human nature to be attracted to more than one person, but I also think that most people are choosy...i mean you ARE technically putting your relationship on the line, so I would assume that if you were to take it this far that one would pick a worthwhile candidate......imo

+1!

The 'line' is quite blurry and tends to change from couple to couple.
Some have not even look at another girl/boy policy. Some are swingers.

I guess its when you've done something that your partner would consider hurtful.

I seriously know at LEAST a handful+ of men who have cheated repeatedly one their girls, and the weird thing is, is that they CLAIM to love them, and treat them like gold the other 99% of the time...they expain that its "just sex"

Pure selfishness.

*Also an important note: the new stats on HIV in US: The #1 increase in HIV cases are married women ages 40-50....because so many husbands cheat (with both men and women), and women who are unsuspecting sleep unprotected with their "seemingly" faithful men. I learned that in my grad class the other day...SCARY!!! :eyespop:

This is by far the sadest part of it all - so what is worse than cheating - not owning up to it and continuing to lie about it and put your "loved" one at serious risk

yup, and to add to that: its one thing to cheat on a girlfriend but its a WHOLE other story to cheat on your wife (and family, since it affects them as well).

I am not very religious, but someday, when I am married, I would want my man to honor his vows, and if he can't go by them, then we should just co-habitat and skip the damn ceremony LOL :)

...plus you can't with your children's lives like that, its not worth it for a piece of ass, and that goes for women too!! :whip: :whip:

Exactly, there is nothing wrong with being tempted by another. But once it's goes past temptation, then it's gone too far.
