But, back on topic, now that all of you guys are saying how bad he is, I really want to hear a Mark Tabernner set so I can see what you're talking about. Speaking of openers, when I first got to the city I really disliked Devant's style, but now I love his sets, and go out of my way to see him spin, so maybe this is a similar situation. |

Also, a really really strange and obnoxious thing happened to me last night...for those of you who know me and those who don't i was wearing my space shirt last night and some random dude came up to me and brought a bouncer over to me and kept talkin to the bouncer and started pointing at me. so i turned around and he confronted me and was like YO TURN YOUR SHIRT INSIDE OUT...i started to lift up my shirt cuz I thought he though I was hiding something....as i proceeded to untuck my under shirt, i asked him yo you a cop or some , i ain't got nothing on me what did you see....then he went to say something to me and the bouncer stepped in and told the dude to get the out of there and i looked at the bouncer and was like yo wtf am i getting kicked out or some ...
he said nah that dude was tripping cuz you're wearing another clubs shirt inside of crobar...i asked him if he worked for crobar or something and the bouncer was like nah don't worry about it and took the dude away....lol
WHAT THE IS UP WITH THESE OBNOXIOUS ASSHATS? Seriously only in a 18+ crowd do I get approached by some tough guy thinking he knew me and knew what was up....he prolly assumed i was some newb....actually i am a newb......Old Skoolers Pretending to be Noobs FOR THE MOTHERING WIN... |

I was standing there with you and was confused as hell as to what was going on. I knew someone gave you about your shirt, but I thought the guy worked there, too. And that was like 5:30 or something (right before they closed out the stairs and made everyone hit the floor). |

i guess you can understand why "i oppose" going to 18+ parties (chris/sot you understand now right), it's not like i hate hangin out with 18+ people it just that the crowd usually turns out a more obnoxious crowd because younger people have a tendacy to be more "tough" when it's completely unnecessary...
point being one of my friends almost got in a fight with some dude because he was with a bunch of girls and the girls started dancing close to him so he tried to dance with one of the chicks and was dancing with her for alittle then the one dude stepped in and pushed him away from her the whole time she was dancing with him she didn't try to move away from him n stuff. i mean i can understand if you and your girl are dancing and some guy tries to dance with her ok...but he clearly was with another one of the chicks in that group cuz they were holding each other arms wrapped around each other etc...and her other girlfriends were around them and gradually moved closer to him...
after he pushed my friend ryan, me and my friend chuck jumped in and was like wtf is this gonna go down....ryan was extremely drunk too so im pretty sure he would have gone if the kid stepped up....but the whole situation could of been avoided minus the pushing...that's a pretty immature act for handling yourself in a club with a group of girls. it's the reason you go out, for the music for the scene for the drinks...i just think the younger crowd mentality is to be ware of the nightlife because of the inexperience...the older you get the more you know how to handle yourself and friends in the club....this is why i prefer 21+ parties, no one in a 21+ party would feel they need to come up to you and tell you how to wear your clothes.... |

as a cool night from the duo.... would definitely not review it badly. crobar was in much better shape/atmosphere than the previous sasha night. i hate how all of a sudden the bastards keep u out in line to look like the trendy hot club and attract attention when it's not packed full inside.....
funny how john influences sasha to play moodier/darker/harder.... while digweed himself had to drop some warmer melodies towards the end because sasha just wouldn't go that way with john alongside! check out glow review..... much more the sasha i love (even though its the club i hate) |
