That is 100% no different to drink driving and both should be punished harshly by the law.

Nah I dont watch Law & Order, but its common sense. Alot of people do know the difference between right and wrong, but when it comes to drugs, as you can see, some dont. Teenagers in this case are effected the most, because like I said alot of them think from emotions, not whats right or wrong. Anyways regarding you statement about Paris. Well I dont know if you can really say that, because you dont hear people saying Paris is . Its more like saying Baghdad is , because in reality it is .

OK i can't speak for all drugs but take ecstasy for example, it certainly doesn't blur any concept of right and wrong. If anything ecstasy makes you happier, less agressive and more empathetic. How's that for your 'drugs are bad' common sense?

Coke makes you more confident, but you are still fully aware of right wrong. It makes some people agressive which obviously is a bad thing but the drug doesn't take over your mind (shock horror all you anti-drugs people, you're still the same person inside whether you're on drugs or not). You still have the control to say yes or no given any situation.

Alcohol is similar, it makes people more confident, which in turn means a bad situation can get agressive. Most of us have been pissed and and started arguing with someone in a pub/club whatever. Now can anyone say that at this point they lost all cocept of right and wrong and physically were not able to make the 'walk away' choice? Same goes for coke

Your 'baghdad is a city' analogy is perfect. How do you know Bahgdad is ? THROUGH THE MEDIA. I'm guessing you've never had a good chat with one or more people that's been to baghdad have you? You do you know drugs are bad? THROUGH THE MEDIA. Pretty much everything they broadcast regarding drugs is bull. You have a chat with me or some other people about drugs and we'll for the most part all drugs are great fun if your're sensible and by no means dangerous to people around us.

Now that other marcos guy is telling me that I am naive about drugs, sure you could call me that, I dont like to say that I am naive on that, more like having common sense, but whatever. Now if it makes you happy to do drugs, then go ahead do it..illegaly that is (depending on where you are), but your going to face charges and propobly get sent to jail. I dont want to go into a political debate here..

You are naive. Tell me where you get your information about drugs from? Common sense isn't an answer

Anyways drugs and music, I dont belive that u need drugs to enjoy music better. You can enjoy music not doing drugs, but some people are in the music just because it goes good with the drugs, thats the difference.

Shock horror i love listening to trance, i loved listening to trance long before i took my first drugs, i love listening to trance at home, i love listening to trance when i'm on drugs and i'm sure i'll love trance for many years to come. So don't give me the 'you don't need drugs to have a good time' bull because i know that and some of the best nights of my life have been drugs free

I'd just like to point out i've completely left the medical arguement out of this. I belive it's the drug users descision/risk

No Pills, Pure PvD!

also, in the Ibiza's Children documentary, when asked about drugs, Armin says he only enjoys "booze and my girlfriend"
BARS-N-STARS
How about booze and my hand? I sleep with a new chick everynight and I dont pull out. No child support here!

Right and this person can cause the death of another person by being high and joking around and not knowing whats right and wrong..then sure its right, anything its right as long as it will make u happy. You think teens should take drugs too? They dont know whats right or wrong, all they know is whats cool. Not a good statement there. Drugs are bad period.

:stongue: so teens cant tell whats right and wrong but as soon as they turn 20 they become responsible adults :stongue:

Honestly every person is different on how they can handle a situation whether it be getting "High" on something being offered to do drugs or to jump off a mountain a person has choices always, people forget that and pressure can be a factor especially to teenagers that really dont know better. bottom line people should think twice and understand consequences for ALL their actions
Tayfoon
Its obviously that you dont have a clue about what drugs do so untill you do...
MASTER AL
i have done my share of drugs and i do understand what it does to a person..

I think you need to take what DJ's like armin and pvd say about drugs with a pinch of salt, mainly due to the numerous pictures of them absolutely out of their skulls :stongue:

i know blank & jones and mauro picotto do drugs, they were doing coke last time i saw them at a party in toronto. not 100% sure if it was coke, but they were on something.

ever wonder that maybe his anti-drug campaign has something to do with his decision to stop doing drugs? like maybe cuz it does have its bad side?? i do not see how that makes him a hypocrite....

i'm all for freedom of choice...just wished the mass majority of people would educate themselves a little more before throwing themselves into a life of drugs.
