Popsicle was my first party up north. The city of SF is BEAUTIFUL!! i fell in love. love the architecture of the city.

Well for the event itself, even though im asian I was completely suprised by how many asians there were. Even while to waiting to get into line there was a half naked chick throwin up alll over the sidewalk. even the cops were laughing at her. the setup was pretty nice but missing one big thing, LASERS!!! the main room had none :wtf:

the left huge hanging speaker thing kept going off but as stated before, most people probably didn't realize the problem. rank 1 and blank and jones set blew me away!! sucks that my camera died as soon as blank and jones came on. good trackselection and the energy blank and jones brought was nuts. the lack of self respect people had was disturbing but that wasn't going to ruin my night. just like i do at other places i try to ignore them. ill have pics posted soon.

yea there was a bunch of asians there for real... :x

anyways WWWWWWWWHHHHHHYYYYY did Piet drop that Electro - Electronic song. I loved his set but that song has me traumatized from when Armin dropped it WMC :nervous:

I enjoyed everyones set.. except for Perry's. But i only flew to San Fran to see the Dj's that were worth the Trip. Signum.. Rank 1.. and of courseeeeeee Blank and Jones!

If I ever go to a Skills event again, then I will NOT get WILL-CALL! My buddy decided to come the last minute. I went to the end of the line down by market street. He walked right in at 9:30 with no line. I waited 2.5 hours... I WAS PISSED!!

Yep, I had my ticket mailed to me, and my roommate decided to go at the last minute too. We walked up to the venue at 9:30 and saw thousands of people in line and were thinking "Aw we're gonna miss Thomas' set :("

But uh, we walked up to the ticket booth which only had 1 person in line, got his ticket, walked right up to the entrance to get frisked and into the venue in under 5 minutes.

Willcall is NOT the way to go for these events. We got really ing lucky :P

Thomas datt played wonderfully too. Anyone know what the second track he played was the one with the wonderful guitar build up.

The first two tracks Thomas played were:

Above & Beyond - Good For Me (Thomas Datt Rework) <-- this was awesome, btw!!
Beam - On Your Mind (Sean Tyas Hard Dub)

I'll post the rest later. :)

Btw it was nice meeting you MellyMel :) And of course seeing Thomas again. I hadn't checked these forums in a bit or I would have tried to meet up with more TAs. Shame on me :whip:

Actually I didn't think there were that many Asians at Popsicle. I was expecting more, but the crowd was fairly well mixed. Now go to trance nights at 1015 and 80% of the room is Asian. It's kinda weird when it gets like that, even for me :wtf: I loved the love parade crowd, very diverse crowd of TRUE partiers!
