I have bronchitis FTL!

So I've got Bronchitis (and an ear infection to top it off), and I've got all this sketchy bull drainingin the back of my throat that is really irritating me like crazy. I've got some codeine cough syrup, but that isn't really helping with this stuff and it's irritating me to insane degrees... Anyone have any recommendations?
I've already tried to tea, and that only helps when I am drinking the tea, then it's right back to :( I also tried some MJ Tea, which got me high, but also didn't fix my throat, as well as random lozenges, and gargling salt water (which supposedly kills bacteria better than any antiseptic). I'm just super frustrated with being uncomfortable and wondering if anyone has any random home remedies they'd care to share with me...?
And as an aside, I hate being sick when it's absolutely gorgeous outside... I want the weather to be as miserable as I feel... |

get some Robitussin cough gels! or if your cough is really bad look for asthma pills (i forget what they're called but they come in a yellow/brown box). not much you can do now but your antibiotics should clear that up quickstyle... you know how badly i wish i could be there to take care of you!!
btw, what are you doing Thursday night/Friday? |

If gargling saltwater didnt help...you're pretty much ed :p

Yeah, I gotta be careful though because there's a LOT of DXM in the prescription syrup I have, so taking too much might get me out of my mind in a real hurry... which might not be terrible, but might ruin me for both conversation and any other kind of social interaction... which, again, might not be that bad, but I'd like to talk to ya later on... ;)

| me mom gets asthmatic bronchitis. she takes this medicine inhaler. when i got bronchitis i took it and it help me a lot stopped the cough and let me sleep. good luck with it. |

i had the same and this pretty much helped me a bit, boil hot water and get lavendel tea leave it sit in the water for a while and put some honey in the water, all this put in a big bowl and put it on the table, go sit on a chair and put your head above the hot tea covered with a bath cloth for half an hour, and youll feel a bit better:)

good point... but my night shall only consist of Taco Bell, bongs, and 24... so i don't plan on being the most engaging conversationalist either. ;)
