Hi everyone!
I finally have a demo mix out! This set has an electro-aggressive (and even a LITTLE progressive) house vibe to it, yet it's fun and pumping at the same time. I am very proud of it and hope you all enjoy. :)

I managed to stumble upon this mix earlier today, I think it is linked in your profile as your homepage, and I was snooping around...
All I have to say is INCREDIBLE. Wow, do you ever have skill. The mixing is tight on nearly all of them, and if it is off, it isn't by much, it's just me being a picky jackass.
The energy that flows throughout the set, amazing. I simply loved it, can't really say more than that.
Keep it up, and let me know when you get a new mix up, I would love to hear it.

Track selection is good. The theme of your mix flows smoothly. Timing is good. Your transitions are good for the most part. No obvious trainwrecks as far as I could tell.
I don't come here to Trance Addict much but is it standard to convert to such high bitrates? This isn't a rant but just a curious observation. I'm guessing high sound quality is praised, although most unprofessionally trained ears couldn't tell a difference, IMO.
I'm not a fan of this new "electro house" sound and I'm partial since electro to me is better exemplified by artist like Drexciya without a standard 4/4 beat. But, a lot has changed since the 90s. Regardless of this you pulled it off. Nice job. |

With EDM these days.. there are SO many sounds and SO many genre's it is nearly impossible to start classifying every track without having to use 5 words! LOL
With this mix it starts out sort of electro-y.. then goes to house, then some agressive stuff.. then a lil prog then back to house... The mix flows well but it's hard to classify it ya know? I do not normally play "electro".. and if I use that word alone, it definetly doesn't describe my style.. Hmm anywho I guess I'm just trying to say it's quite a mixed mix lol.. now off to bed... brain is toast from cramming for school :nervous: :eyespop: :tongue3  :eyes: |

Yeah. Classifications are very restrictive but it palys a large role in how one promotes themself. It's a real pain in the ass if you ask me.
Sometimes less is more. Tell them less and the more the crowd likes it. This seems to be the safest road to take. LOL. |
