I agree Venue/location makes a huge deal. This is an extreme example...but seeing Tiesto with 10k Brazilian near the beach in Brazil is an amazing experience. Everyone goes nuts because they are so excited that such a big DJ is playing there. Although DJs are making it a lot more often to places like that these days...everyone goes. so it's tons of fun.
compared to SF where people are a lot more discrminating about music, what they do with their time and money etc...you could throw that same party in Brazil (or elswhere) on a wednesday and the place will be rammed and loads of fun...but here, esp. at RS, on a wednesday night...forget it. |

Just a little clarification:
Ill be playing Saturday morning at Bacchus following the 4th and B Tiesto show but I will NOT be playing Sunday morning as ill be at Avalon. Apparantly some people dont have their facts straight here and are spreading mis-information. We will have line ups posted soon. any questions please contact me directly. [email protected]

Will be there both nights to support my boy Dinaire, and of course glad to see Boris get up here as well.
If Tiesto decides to care, and drop a nice set, these should be some really well rounded nights.
(btw heather_sd, Victor's name is spelled incorrectly, there is supposed to be an "I" after the "A". Hopefully Avalon doesn't have this typo on the flyers. Fix if you can :)) |
