im in the same boat only my opinion of our situation is qite different.
where you seem to mourn the fact that you're young and single and in college i celebrate it. i havnt had a proper relationship since i started uni and i dont intend to have one again until i finish.
wtf is the rush? you're young - get out and break a few hearts! |

You see, when you make friends, were you expecting to make friends? You just make them, naturally. When you look for girls, it's like the whole planet's bad mojo gathered together and decided that you're a bad child and you want have your toy just because you're annoyingly asking everyone for it.
All the times I found someone important in my life I was completely oblivious to my surroundings. All the times I got frustrated at girls, I was "hunting", "looking for a relationship" or "trying too hard".
Also, if you're going to spend money on clothes, expensive toiletries and whatnot, do so because you like it, not because you want girls to notice you. I've been quite lucky in spite of my not-so-great looks, and I haven't spent a dime on perfume, ever (I did get one from my current girlfriend, but after two years, it's still half full :D), and I sure couldn't care less about my looks: I was emo before emo existed :p |

I do enjoy buying clothes etc...
I went thru a period of not trying, just going out, enjoying it, working hard, but I know its my lifestyle that is why i dont interact with girls each day, I.T classes dont have many, nor does my job.
I dont think I'm a club puller even though I do ok in clubs ...its a hard one, I think every single bloke wants a lifestyle that has new girls they meet every day |

if you're looking for something serious you might never find it at a club cause that's just not the reason why most people go to clubs!
If you go to clubs you'll get:
whores
crackwhores
deadbeat whores
( well at least most of the time ).
You need to widen your social interaction circle if you're hoping to find a keeper.
Ps: you also sound needy " bouhouhouhou I haven't had a gf in months bouhouhouhou I'm at the end of my rope ". That is a bit pathetic. |

you're trying way too hard... and girls hate that.
stop worrying about your image and how you can impress the ladies. just be yourself, do what YOU like, and eventually you'll run into someone who you'll hit it off with. the best relationships usually happen when you least expect them... and the more you try to force it, the less it seems to work. |

| part of everyone will always love their first loves but you're only 21 so all things considered, you neednt worry. if you hit 70 and you're in the same boat, kill yourself. until then, be yourself and dont let the memories of one great past relationship kill or deny you chances of a new and better one. i think a lot of people will use that one great relationship they had and compare every relationship theyve had since then to compare it to and when it just doesnt compare in every sense, they get distraught and grow bored, eventually giving up. |
