See I have the problem, if I'm not expecting them I miss the cues.
I've been out with mates, chatting idly with a chick at a bar or somehting (can't remember exactly now) and anyway she's made some comment about having to leave and I said something like "oh yeah, ok, well, cya later". She went and my one of my mates slapped me over the back of the heaed and said I was a in idiot and that chick was definitely interested in me. Cos I was just there having a few with my mates and relaxing I didn't even notice!
I need to find a happy medium:( (cos believe, I go waaaaaaaaay too hard when I try) |

it's true... in my experience, many guys either try too hard or they don't try hard enough. first impressions are very important, and you need to do or say something to make an impact on the girl - something that she'll remember you by, something to set yourself apart from the other hundreds of guys hitting on her, etc... but you also can't be too forward or pushy about it, otherwise it will scare her away or she'll just get annoyed with you. |

because they appear confident, and they know what to say to a girl to get her interested. guys like that are kind of like knock-off designer watches - they look impressive and shiny from a distance, but once you get a closer look, you realize they're just a cheap piece of crap... and the kind of girls that go home with a guy like that are usually insecure fake bitches and they need the attention (whether it be good or bad) to boost their self-esteem. |
