Okay, I personally have a GeForce (last time I had an ATI was with the Mach64--ancient).
I guess that tom's hardware site is pretty good:
If you can afford it, Radeon X1900 w/512MB or the GeForce 7900-series. (over $300!!) |

the 7900-series cards are in the $500-range. in expensive.

| right now itll be going into sketchbags comp for the time being. becuz the comp i have at the moment is a cube with a built in card. so i want to in the next few months just buy a comp for WOW only just the vid card and what ever else. then just switch the monitor from one comp to the other... the cube for msn/ta/music wut ever... and the oterh one for WOW only. with no other junk on it |
