I'm Wrecked. Should I Call Out?

it's only my second week at my new job, and i really like the job and wonder if that's too early to call out.
however after a kick-ass night of dancing and red bull & vodkas, i never quite managed to get to bed. i have to be there at 7:00 (time now: 4:55), but the shift is twelve hours long and i don't know if i wanna be a zombie and risk falling asleep on the job, as that really wouldn't make for a good impression. :nervous:
suggestions? i need advice!!! thx! :) |

You made a very stupid initial decision.
I suppose you need to weigh whether giving the impression that you are unreliable is worse than going and possibly ing up.
Do you honestly feel like you are incapable of making the entire day without screwing something up that will possibly cause you your job, or make you look bad? If you answer yes, than either way you're screwed.
Either way you are going to look like a twat to the boss. However, it might look better that you actually bothered to show up and something up, rather than not come at all.
If you have to drive a vehicle, I suggest you stay home. |
