What up yall,
I'm all about promoting the hell out of all of the events and earning my way in. Not looking to do anything but to maybe open or close parties untill you guys see that I can throw down.

| Excuse me for using my own lingo. I am looking for group of party throwers, goers, and DJs to work with in promoting the scene and events. Anyone got any idea of what krews.....wait wait......Production companies are around? |

James Amato talks like that in his interviews for the local papers. Cheeky.
My advice for you, is to start shining all the right knobs. Its tricky, but someday you'll find a knob that opens up the door to your success.
Other than that you should post a mix, and just to let you know. If it sucks, the fine people here will be more than will to give you some thoughts about it. Unless its really bad, then we will all just laugh at you. |

welcome to the midwest.. here in kleveland (lol) best way to get started is to go out to events, not just huge ones but the intimate wednesday night ones too, show your face, meet the DJ's and the promoters, and bring some mix CD's with you to give to promoters. that should start you on your way. and the whole bit about the right knob thing. cheers~ |

first post got deleted by Marak5, but if you scroll down the first page it's quoted by arcadia190... long story short - he decided to talk about RJT and i, BreakBeatGurl googled his name and found all these posts he made on random sexguide forums talking about hookers and how he paid $250 for a hand job.
the thread isn't as funny as it was the day it happened... but it's still pretty priceless. :happy2: |

I understand, from Tampa we had guys throw our parties..Here in Chi they have promoters like ExactEvents, Pure, Surreal, Global A.. Your best bet is to hook up with a small local DJ and pound the streets. GL and Welcome to CHICAGO!:gsmile: |
