yeah well....I'm sorry, but I can't get excited over ing CAROLINA winning the Stanley Cup. So when Recchi, Brindamour, Wesley and Doug Weight all retire and they start to suck, let's see how full the building is. But this Cup at least saved Carolina from moving to Winnipeg or Las Vegas for the next half decade.

no, I was just throwing out the phrase. I guess what I was getting at is that Montreal is the NHL"s most successful team and obviously Canada's....and they were the last Canadian team to win it. With all those crazy OT wins (11 wins of 16 victoriesin OT, 10 straight throughout the playoffs in 93), maybe they used up all of Canada's luck!:D ANyway, I"m full of crap. Both Edmonton and Calgary really had a shot the last two seasons to bring it home. |
