Oilers vs. Ducks in about an hour.
The Ducks will probably stick with Giguere. He'll be a bit better tonight than game 4 I think, now that he's shaken off the rust. Having said that, I do think that the series will end tonight. I'm expecting a good game from Hemsky, he showed some brilliance in game 4.

Oilers are the Western Conference champs, and move on to the finals, after defeating the Ducks, 4-1
Exciting finish to Game 5, included Oilers holding off a 6-on-3 during some of that time
First ever #8 seed in the finals under the current playoff format |

Woot!!!
Edmonton finishes off the Ducks on a penalty kill, how appropriate. They played great tonight. After the first was over, I felt like this was Edmonton's to lose. They slowed the game right down, frustrated the Duck's offence and got a couple goals, just like they've been able to do on the road so well these playoffs. It was an intense last few minutes but... OILERS ALL THE WAY BABY!!! |

Hopefully Carolina and Buffalo play each other to death and have little left for the Oil, definitely Canada's team now. But in the last 20 years, they probably have that claim anyway. Of all the western teams, I like them the best and would cheer for them against any other team except my Habs.
