right now i'm using the audio-technica ATH-M40fs headphones.
they have been very durable, they're loud, and they sound pretty flat and detailed. plus they are relatively cheap compared to other dj headphones. -i littereally saw one of those piece of silver sony headphones fall apart on some one in the middle of mix while he was adjusting them. pretty emabarrasing in my book.
also i don't think they were ever aimed at the dj market, but it was the best i could afford back in '98-'99. i love how they don't do any that stupid karma sutra bull, like fold and bend into a pretzel n' stuff like that. they just get the job done. i love em.

I like my HD25's a lot! Have been using them for more then just dj'ing. They block out external sounds really well too!
