I just ordered a pair of MDR-V6 for $55 shipped.

Read nothing but good about them, the price is good and people report to have them for 5+ years and they work great except the ear pads start to wear out. + They are great studio monitors.

Cant wait to get them, my old plantronics headset broke and I have to use the iPod earbuds for now :o

sennheiser - less parts to break. either hd25 or hd25sp (but remember the twin cord on sp's:( - it is a bit annoying)

I own DJ-1Pros, btw.

Be gentle with them - I had mine for 3 months before they snapped (And I BABY my gear) :(

I initially voted for them in this poll, but would never do so again.

well i have a one year warranty with the store i bought them from, so lets just hope they last that long

(and i've heard plenty more 'snapping' stories in regards to the sony's)

Whats everyones views on the pioneer se-dj5000?

clicky

I searched all over the forums and found barely anything, but bought them over the new pioneer 1000's and the sony v6's due to just liking the feel etc.

I can't reccomend them highly enough. My old headphones where the highly awesome audio technica ATH -AD700, but unfortunately tottaly inpractical for djing. I'm loving my pioneer se-dj5000's and just wanted to know if anyone had any opinions, or any experience of breakage. Casue to me they feel solid as. But yeah.. comments....???
