I went to the orthodentist today and here's what i got to do...put braces for 2 years, put an apparatus to make my palate larger and then get a surgery after like 1 year of braces...Im so pissed off..im like turning 23 on april 28th..ill look stupid as with braces @ 23-25 years old :|||

so..should I do with the treatment or wait til i get married...it's not like my face is all ed up...

If any of you had those treatments..are they really painful..thank you!

I think you should do it now.

I dated a guy who was 24 and had braces, and to be honest, I thought he looked adorable.

Not to mention, if you are looking for a girl to eventually get married to, I would hope that she would love you braces or not. If she can't get past the braces that are going to be removed, then I really don't think she is the "one".

what abt insurance.?
Zeiter
well..it doesn't cover dental expenses..well the state pays the surgery..the $7200 is for the braces and the consulting time...
Sunsnail
To be honest, I think we need pictures of your teeth.

my english is bad but ill try to explain. THe thing is my jaw is slightly dislocated which means when i close it i have like 2 possibilites...which means most of the time my upper theeth are slightly not in place (a little noticeable if u really look closely) and then it makes a friction when the lower theeth ....and then well..after x years..if i dont correct it...it might go even worse and change a little more position...

FuzzyChicken
What about Invisalign, its clear mouth gaurd type device for straightening teeth.
