17-18+ clubs?

| for the younger people here in the chicagoland, how would you rate the 17-18+ clubs? i know im going to energy thursdays tomorrow,which is 17+ to get in, 21+ to drgink, and for the most part its a lot of hard trance /hard house to get the youth grindin and bumpin and movin, but there is a decent amount of good funky that i was surprised to here coming from what i thought was more of a commercial club than anything else. has anyone else been here? and can anyone recommend anywhere else that i, an 18 year old, can go for a good club experience? |

Energy Thursdays and Zero Gravity are as commercial as clubs get - I've been in Energy once (not by choice) and I heard some of the worst euro-pop ever assail my ears. I've heard that Zero Gravity is even worse.
If I were you, I would either work on obtaining a very good fake for 21+ clubs - or not bother at all.

i stay away from Zero like its a in rattlesnake.
but energy is good if all your lookin to do is get some nasty grindage goin.

Well, I never went to clubs to pick up women or hook up, I always went for the music - so I leave the grindage out of my equation.
Seriously, I wouldn't bother with 18+ clubs. Just jacked up candy kids drooling on each other. |

these are the only "clubs" for under 21, but i highly recommend you stay away. The guys are all eastern european and are all clad in dolce and gabbana or armani exchange and all have their hair spiked up. The girls are attractive, but are all obnoxious and are whores. If you want a place with some decency, i suggest you check out the more underground going on in Chicago. these clubs and the suburban teenagers in them are an absolute joke... The only time i went, my friends and I were laughing at how ridiculous everyone was.. Still, it seems as if these people dont realize themselves just how funny they look... I suggest you look at the photo albums for yourself... |

I agree. i went to zg back in the day [ that was like 5 years ago], and while the music was *ok*, the people there were rather lame.
so, unless you can get a fake; you're prolly stuck until you hit 21. unless you really want to experience the under 21 stuff.
i've heard energy thursdays aren't really all that bad.
and i suppose, if you have nothing to do; and want to experience a "club" like place, then i'd try it.
but really, don't be surprised if you are disappointed or it's not what you expected. :toothless |
