ok the tribeca film festival is happening pretty soon. however as a casual movie goer, there seems to be less hype than in previous years. the scheduling of the movies seems pretty awful too. it seems like there is a lot more to choose from this year than in previous years, and a good portion of the movies are being shown weekdays during normal work hours. are there any movies in particular you might've heard about that you've wanted to watch? i want to see "wordplay" (i'm a huge crossword puzzle guy) and "over the hedge" just for the heck of it.

"choking man" might interest me a bit too.

Too bad lots of the them are during the day while we're at work. Some interesting ones might be:

Hanging Garden - Asian delusions of perfection

50 Pills - may interest this crowd in particular lol

Mini's First Time - "Part Heather and part Lolita"

Love for Share - Big Love in Indonesia?

Why?? Are you saying uncomfortable topics and history should be ignored? I'll probably see it, if not in theaters, then at home.

I suppose you'd have been against movies set during the Vietnam War like Apocalypse Now and The Deer Hunter because they were made pretty soon after Vietnam.
