Why must men suffer due to conventions?
circumsision is regarded as a healthy, standard procedure in Israel so much so that most families here don't even consider an alternative, don't even give it a second thought; Just child mutilation by default. :mad:
I just heard of a case that occured here in which a man sued his parents for mutilating him and taking away his dignity as a person and as a creation of god (for he believes circumcision is interference with god's work); The case was shortly dismissed by the judge, who said the prosecutor is out of his mind or something to that effect.
It's just awful. :/
Why is it still legal to mutilate children without their consent? :( |

it's a sacrifice of function for form, and while as you may see in my custom status, i (and others) love the appearance of my penis, i'd much rather have my forskin intact.

i would assume the fact a heartache is a medical problem (unlike having a forskin) would have an influence on that decision... |

| yeah i'm very against the mutilation of children for aesthetic reasons, and even moreso if its for some fanatic religious cause. this issue was mentioned in a thread previously, and someone posted a link to the health problems associated with circumcision which were many. |

highly doubtful considering this is israel, and the only reason he is 'out of his mind' in the judge's view is probably because there's some verses in the torah that commands jews to preform circumcisions (which would be 'slightly' idiotic considering we were supposedly made the way we were by god). |

It seriously cracks me up every time I hear someone ranting and raving like it's the biggest crime against humanity. Now, if your'e getting circumcised at 25, that may be a different story, but I doubt any 25 year old's parents are pulling the strings at that age.
Ok, let's take a poll. If you are a male with a circumcised dick...do you even remember anything at all about the event? Hell, for that matter, do you remember anything prior to age 2? I'll stick my dick out on the line and say nope, I don't remember and don't ing care. My dick is clean, thank you.
Now what about the time I bit a hole through my tongue and they strapped me down in a straight jacket so they could sew the hole up while I was completely conscious? Talk about uneccessary cruelty! |

Then so is cutting your hair and clipping your nails, as well as shaving etc etc etc...the guy was a retard.
And i higly doubt it hurts as much as you think...its a fast snip snip...not mutilation like you claim. |
