Wait a sec... if that's the case, then I feel bad. As we were walking towards 26th on the side of the dealership, we saw a cop car or two pull up and drive away. We said "Ugh... let's cross. I don't want to get involved in any of that."
!!! If only I would've known. |

All i gotta say is : 16 bit Lolitas - Sadina kicked my ass!
Also, he played a rework of "This is Miami" and changed the main vocal to "This is New YOrk" ...pretty cool.
Great set last night, just a good-ol-time listening to some stellar house music, also great way to re-live WMC. |

Great time as always but def missed Desyn. I agree that Sander's set went downhill after 4. I was still enjoying the music but it wasn't giving me energy. I couldn't really dance or get into it. He was just as tired as I was though - after all, he wasn't expecting to be spinning the whole set on his own. So I give him a lot of credit. He spun the previous night in CT and was prob still jet lagged. Yeah, yeah, I know I am somewhat biased. But how can I not be? He's a great DJ, his mixing was on point and he has the cutest picture of his little girl as his laptop wallpaper. :p Sorry, it just makes me have a soft spot for him.
Anyway, here are my favorite tracks of the night. I usually mess up the remix or the title, but this is the best I can do!
Holmes Ives feat. Avalon Frost - 8 Letters (Tommyboy remix)<-- My birthday request (thank you sander!)
Laid Back - White Horse
Underworld - Cowgirl
Puncher - The Wall
David Morales feat Lea-Lorien - How Would You Feel?
Dusk - Music Is The Answer
Queen - Another one bites the dust (Cedric Gervais bootleg)
Deep Dish feat Stevie Nicks - Dreams
Sander Kleinenberg - This is not Miami [LMR]
16 bit Lolitas - Sedana [Yo]
it was great to see everyone and i had a fabulous time. can't wait till the next one when sander will hopefully return to the STAGE.

| was there earlier in the night for Dany's set in the Reed Room.I had a blast. I haven't been to Crobar in ages and it was actually kind of cool to be back. Did they open up the second floor to everyone all night or were they being gay and roping it off for VIPS? |

| I had a great night.....the crowd was awesome and so many TAs/Groovanauts were there....that's what really made it a special night. Don't get me wrong....the music was awesome but I really wasn't diggin how they put Sander in the upper DJ booth....no interaction with the crowd at all and that sucks. Sander deff ripped it for the first half of his set but then fell off like everybody else said. He started to pick it back up at the end but everybody was beat so we left around 5:45. Was great seeing all the usual suspects. I will have my pictures up on Groovanauts soon.:toothless |

I love Sander! What a trooper for playing a longer set last minute (and to my knowledge he has never missed a date for "chronic exhaustion..." ). Crobar really lucked out getting him for a residency and I have many fond memories of Sander nights. But that tower of a booth has got to go! Talk about creating a massive distance from the crowd.
The "White Horse" track everyone mentioned was so much fun to dance to. He also played Last Rhythm - Last Rhythm. That's all I remember!
Oh and one of the bouncers decided to run my ID through the card machine and it beeped out "happy birthday" so he called me back and told me to tell the guestlist people so we could get comped. Everyone else on their birthday should try that. ;) |
