To be brief: amazing night, amazing set. I had insanely high expectations for the night, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Not a weak tune played the entire night; just one absolutely sick dancefloor destroying bassline after the other.
Nice meeting Piett and Stereohead =) Been a long while since the last time I danced my ass off like that.
Some tracks I remember:
16-bit Lolitas - Pasadena [was the bass on this ever ing NUTS on the system]
Queen - Another One Bites the Dust (Cedric Gervais bootleg)
Low End Specialists - It Comes From Inside
N-Joi - Anthem (some remix) ["I'm in love with you, want you to love me tooooooooo", followed by disgusting 303 square arpeggiated bassline, so ing deadly.] |

Had fun. Could of had more fun if i was 100%. Happy too meet some of the other TA's. No bloody ing way I am going to stereobar before stereo ever, ever again. Sander did a really good job.
ONE thing starting again only showing up for the headliner(s) at venues. I need to get better.

A couple of people I know that went reported that there was some confusion getting upstairs from stereobar - is that what you mean? |

way too hot! omfg, first time I went it wasn't like a bloody boiler room.
thing is what cracked me up at stereo... this girl brings a guy into a bathroom and tries to sneak him into a stall but one of the security dude stops them. SWEET!
I out drank all you mofo's... 2 glasses of OJ and 2 bottles of water :p |

Jesse I'm totally with you. I got drunk by 12 and I started crashing at 2... yeah.... sucky. BUT, I hung tight and kept my eye on the prize: Sander. So, 30 mins before he comes on I'm too fkn fatigued and decide to go lie down in my car which is parked in a lot across the street.
BAD MOVE MARKESS!
Guess what time I got up at?

Guys what time I was supposed to bring the car back home?

Sigh...
STEREOBAR was cool but not well ventillated and suffering from a bad sound system.... I sound negative... it isn't that bad...
All in all the thing that made the night for me was the people I was with. Julius, Jesse, Erika, Louis, Dan... thanks guys, you kept me going.
It was my... first... time at Stereo and let me say....
WOW!
Easily Montreal's best afterhours. The vibe, layout, sound and quality of music blow CIRCUS and ARIA out of the water. DEFINITELY coming back...
Met a ton of TA's, we got some great cats in this city and in Ottawank. Cheers! I'm so happy to see all those who made it from Toronto and Ottawa, it was a pleasure to meet you all.
I'm sure people who danced all night and actually SAW Sander have something better and more thorough to say so lets wait to see when they wake up.
Sander will be back... hopefully... :( |

stereo is amazing
am pissed we didn't go to sander to take pictures cause of our finals but in may, we r gonna be there for sure (live coverage and pics)especially for chus and ceballos and richie santana

Can't talk. Legs are broken for the second Saturday in a row! Was absolutely fabulous to meet so many TA's and put faces and aliases and real names together!!

uhh... i must of been going crazy last night because I think I kept seeing Anthony Pappa going up and down the stairs from the dj booth for most of the night. :crazy:
Did anyone else see this dude that looked like Pappa or was Pappa. |
