I agree with a lot of what you are saying, I'm very picky about what minimal I listen to and cannot stand a lot of tracks by the "big boys" or minimal- lobos, smoke, magda etc... It really takes a lot to find minimal that stands out- its' probably the genre I find most difficult to wade through, But when you do find those gems, you just never want to stop listening to them. I'd also liek to add how kickass Alex Stealthy is... It's like a mixture of minimal, prog and some hardy techy stuff on some of it. He's been on heavy rotation lately.

I'm well aware of this, but the point was that people lately seem to class anything with a slower bpm minimal, and it's annoying.

Naw that, it has to have that vibe- Hard to explain, you just kind of know it when you hear it. I think Minimal is a ty name for the genre, but whatever, it sounds "hip" so it.

Like every genre theres good and bad & theres a time and a place for it too, i.e fabric @ 7 am .

there is some complete and utter e though on Beatport.

we need more driving chonk music imo
