Guys, that was a major disappointment. He sucked. I will never waste money on that again. Went and saw Markus Schulz on thursday and had ten times more fun. Digweeds set was ordinary at best.

I saw him @ Nation in DC the night before. He probably sucked it up in Dallas because up here Nation is closing down and he ROCKED IT for closing. AND travel time with the flooding here probably a LEAST delayed his plane from DC to DFW. (andhe looked like already)

Sorry you got screwed though. :(

I dont think we were at the same place. Digweed tore it up like no other. I haven't seen a crowd in Dallas go crazy like that in a long time. He dropped bomb after bomb and slayed the dancefloor. Best set I've heard in Dallas since I started going out to shows in 2002 imo.

I wasn't blown away at all by his set. I was actually somewhat dissapointed. The crowd seemed to be into it, but it was nothing compared to Paul van Dyk and Tiesto at Blue. As far as crowd energy and excitement, nothing has compared to those two sets in Dallas in the past few years that I'm aware of. Part of may be the venue though, I think seven is a terrible place to hold these big events. Poor lay out and too crowded IMO.

and honestly, if you're the kind of guy who likes/would prefer a PVD or Tiesto set, Digweed probably doesn't have much up his sleeve that will tickle your funny bone.

Now, if you like real music, however.....

So let me get this right. If you like Digweed and don't like Tiesto or Van Dyk, you are a REAL music lover? Ohhhhhhh, then I guess I that particular weekend I was looking to go spend 30 bucks on a really crappy set and was treated to a life changing experience and didn't was just way to plastic in my music knowledge and taste to know what exactly I was being treated to.

Stupid me. God Save John Digweed. I hope he comes back and plays that same set (especially more Micheal Jackson remixes) so that I will appreciate what life changing experience it really was.

Technique, transitions, progressions and style can only go so far. In the end, you still have to know how to select better music.

Dirk only thinks about chicks. In fact, he bought all his DJ equipment so chicks would like him. He doesn't even like electronic music.
