I am pretty comfortable with myself...and I treat people as equals...do you? I won't judge a person by the type of music they listen to or there hometown ( I don't hang in Woodbridge by the way but used to work there). So I am done...I still think the crowd was arse at Guvernment because alot of fahkers kept shoving and pushing through the crowd instead of enjoying the music and dancing etc.
I won't dress in a suit to go to work, let alone go to a smoky club or coffee shop. But if someone feels comfortable doing so I say live and let live. I wouldn't do it and I have my opinions about it...so you can too but...I think I am understanding now what I would call a gino
-someone who spends more time worrying about his looks
-someone who is in general ignorant
-too concerned with his car/stereo etc.
-likes certain music or just does not dislike a certain genre
-treats people like to cover up their own insecurities or faults
-lacks drive and motivation to make a diference in life
I could not care less about the groupings I am put in or if I got your approval or the approval of the idiots wasting their lives away at Coffee Time on Highway 7. I didn't finish a 4 year university degree in 3 years by sitting around shooting off about how cool I am for listening to this or that, driving this car or that car or for playing a few girls. All I want in life is to make dollars, buy the in life that my immigrant parents could not afford, find a girl that I can respect and live with forever and raise a family with... pretty simple values. The career aspect only needs time now...I am a CA and a CFA and if I don't go to Europe on an international transfer then I may go back and do my MBA as well. I just turned 25 and have done a lot with life so far. Do I sound like a lazy worthless who sits around bragging about his car and his bi+ches and his clothes. All the 'ginos' I know judge people by their style or appearance and make fun or whatever, man you are kind of like that...elitists who think they are special because of their supposed superior taste...this is why I started this thread to see tru colors here...you are one in the same except you don't listen to freestyle you listen to trance...

| ok man....dont take anything personal...i dont judge ppl...i was just playing with you...like who cares if u are and if u arent a gino....jesus it doesnt matter theres more to life then just labels...u seem to have ur head on straight so dont worry what ppl labelo u as...i was just playong around....i hve many friends that ppl would label as a "Gino"...but trust me if they were the stereotypical gino i would not chill with them..i dont chill with losers....i was playing with you so dont get offended please...im italian my parents are straight off the boat...i am called a gino from time to time but trust me if u ever met me im not...i dress to impress when i go out to clubs or wherever...my definition of gino is loser...and u are not a loser so therefore by my definition you cannot e a gino....live ur life forget how ppl judge other ppl....leave that for highschool students |

| You don't seem like a Gino to me man...especially since you're on a computer now, talking to people you most likely don't know personally and just talking...giving out opinions and stuff. My experience with gino's shows me that they think they're "too cool" to go on a board/forum and talk to people they've never met and share thoughts and such. To me, a Gino is a person who drives a rice car, listens to radio beats AND is full of himself. The third point is the most important......the other 2 only come with number 3. |

One question, what the heck is freestyle? only thing i can think of is freestyle rapping where MCs make up the words as they go along like MC flipside does with Freaky Flow..

hmm.. i got a DJ icey essential mix that sounds kinda like that.. althought i wouldn't say the breaks or vocals are crappy.
is DJ icey freestyle? or is he breakbeat? i'd say breakbeat.
but.. genres are stupid. you can't even classify things like that.. i just want to know anyway though. |
