| Ok my three yr old gateway shut down on me, i checked the video card, and even bought a new one, thats not it, checked the monitor and used another one thats not it, i get no pic or signal when i plug my monitor in, sooooo does anyone know whats wrong with my piece of comp? |

| Damn bro, if it's your motherboard you may as well get a whole new computer. Then again you may be able to get another motherboard with the same specs, but hell. For that trouble be better off getting something new anyway. Gateways are awful. |

don't listen to darkangel. you can get a very good motherboard for less than $50.

| yeah but do you wanna around with taking the whole ****** apart and replacing the motherboard? i'd just buy a new one. if the motherboard went out, the other components are probably gonna start going soon too. |

| Well at this point, i dont have money yet for a new comp, i am putting money aside already to build myself a new one, i just need this one up and running for a few more months and then i throw in tiger's backyard :gsmile: |
