Nothing appealing except for Ferry, but probably only 1-2 hour set, and seen him enough already! |
I have to agree buddy. Ferry and Fanciulli would be my only reason for going and I really don't want to go to a rave again unless the lineup is jaw dropping and while this has some nice names, I'll stick to LA or SD clubs this night.
Free > $40 for a rave :nervous: |

im with you and phillipe. i was already pretty much set on not going to anymore raves and then i went to popsicle and that was the last straw. no more raves. i just dont like the vibe nor the atmosphere. i love the clubs a lot more. |

[rant] Exactly. I turned 21 in December and before that, all I knew was raves and 18+ club events. All I did was complain about how ty it was that club events were always 21+ and now I see why everyone that was 21+ complained about me complaining because most of the under 21 crowd (ravegoers) is pathetic. I've been to countless excellent club events in these 4 months and so many dam good DJ's, I promised myself I'd never go near a rave again. Well, I made the mistake of going to How Sweet It Is for some other friends and I was ashamed to be there. The mood, the atmosphere, the people..none of it is appealing anymore. I'm over the drugs, I'm over that scene. Clubs FTW! [/rant] |

I agree with you but to tell you the truth, I don't know how much better the scene at Avalon really is. Last Sat at Sasha the crowd left abit to be desired. If it wasn't for the TAs spead out throughout, it would have been a nightmare. |

totally agree!!!!! although i do enjoy the club atmosphere better (spundae) but with this line up i have to go. the e puddles are annoying and the super young kids make me scared for their safety all cracked out the TALENT!!! i will be there |

| its a sad thing i guess, most of the EDM events you go, clubs raves whatevers, there is going to be cracked out people. it sucks that its that way but you deal the hand your dealt. im not going to miss out on all this great talent in 1 day because there are stupid douchebags around me. i go to enjoy the music and enjoy it with the people who love the music. ignore the etards and washing macinces and they will "roll" right past you. be happy and just dance!!!!!!!!!!! |

Different strokes for different folks. Experiencing a DJ in a club with a good sound system is more appealing than a rave in a huge tent or hall, to me.
I like the smaller, intimate settings with great music and good vibes. It's hard to get a good vibe going when you have sweaty shirtless bodies rolling around you and every other person you look at has pupils the size of the earth itself. |
