theres rumours that someone died in crasher on sat...aparently a ghb overdose.
but...i can understand why if its true...crasher was soo bloody hot last sat!..i mean the chill out room was unbearable..and in a club which harbours drug users there shud be some air conditionin up there.
anyway theres many sites startin this subject on the gatecrasher forums..i'd put them up but their bein updated soo fast they'l be about 3 pages more by the time many of you read this.
lets hope it isn't true because there was a death at golden just 2 weeks ago and the club shut as a mark of respect..if gatecrasher has also experienced the same loss..then who knows wot will happen. |

thats really bad :( but GHB is a very dangerous drug :confused:
and about it being to hot, its stupid sometimes because the week before when i went they had that big -off heater on and it was still too hot without it. oh yeh and i heard the chill out room was actually a sauner on sat... |

yeah it was unbelievably toastin!..theres loadsa rumours that it was over 800 more than crashers capcity!!..it does seem shady caus we got told in the non ticket holders queue that we'd have to wait for another two hours to get in..to see if there were any more spaces...that was after 2 hours already waiting..i seriously didn't think i was goin to get in!..and then suddenly ten mins later the bouncers suddenly let all of us..pile into the club!!
now i'm well glad they did that!..caus i got in!
but if rumours spread that not only did someone die outside crasher there now significant evidence of overheating and an overcapacitated club to add as well!...if police get hold of that...then gatecrashers ed!
but...the death still could be a hoax??!..and armin may still play??

After the police raid last year this is the last thing crasher needs, imm pretty sure the police will pay some intrest to crasher in the next few months.

no some guy really died, 36 year old guy outside the club though, i dont know if that was the same person who is said to have been carried outside after passing out or somthing :conf:
thing is now theyll crack down on the drugs, which means less pills, which can usually mean less happy people (i can garauntee you if there wernt people takin pills ta sugar shack i would NEVER go in that place because about 95% of peopel there have em). also everything will be blown up by the media, who will try and blame it on pills rather than GHB |

Well I don't know if it's related, but people were talking about a guy who was standing at the top of the stairs in a right state, was having panic attacks and didn't know where he was. The he collapsed and the bouncers came along and got him outside. People were saying it looked GHB related.
Obviously it might have nothing to do with the guy who died but it's not looking good for crasher. The place was way too hot and if it turns out they let too many in, coupled with a drug-related death that could mean serious trouble for them.
Anyway obviously thoughts go out to his family..I guess we'll know more soon. |

I remember when sundisential was at club uropa in leeds untill it had its license canceled and the club got shut down because of 2 deaths, the local newspapers, the student ones and the nationals all made a massive meal of it. The media would probley love this kinda news.

| this kind of stuff makes me sad and it really buts a downer on what was otherwise a wicked night its a real shame when stuff like this happens and it did feel to packed i crasher it may be time for them to start stickin to capacity i think to avoid ventialtion problems coz it was far too hot. |

surely if someone collapsed then one of us would have noticed paramedics... and stuff like that gets round gatecrasher so quick, and no-one heard anything. e.g. we knew there were undercovers in a few weeks ago within 10 minutes of them walking in.. just by word of mouth. we were evenly littered around the front area, so unless they slung em out the back door (past another 500 ppl who would have seen and something would have been said).. my best bet is this bloke has ed up at some other club and his 'mates' or whoever dumped him outside GC @ 6am.
but, it has to be said.. it was seriously packed this weekend. thats twice in the last month or 2 its been over-sold.. red/black was about 500 over capacity.. its not on and its what is eventually gonna bring crasher to its knees.
and they do need to sort out the ventilation a bit.. when its that packed just opening the fire doors aint enough... why cant they fit downstairs with the same setup as upstairs? theres big fans and extractors n stuff up there.. and why wasnt ther air-con on in the chillout room???
and.. why the does anyone do GHB..? its in stupid. u dont know how strong the will be, and one drop of it can make the difference between the high of ur life and a coma.
