Tax Deadline - Monday, May 1st

Just incase people don't go look in the other thread...
Don't forget to file your taxes people!
You have an extra day this year because Apr 30th falls on a Sunday!
This coming MONDAY is the day to make sure you have everything filed, sent out, post-marked, etc. by!

If you dont owe it doesn't matter when you file.
If you owe and have no business income (ie. concontract income, stuff on a T2124 statement) only T4able earnings, then you have to remitt your return and pay by Apr 30th.
If you have business income to report, you need to pay by Apr 30th, but dont have to remitt your tax return until Jun 15th.
(YEA, I know, makes no sense, but thats the way it works)

haha! Mine wasn't THAT quick...I had to wait for my stupid T4 from work which didn't come until the END of February...
But it was spent by the end of March..lol |
