hey guys.
i wanted to share this with everyone here. the full 320k version of my svd rmx. sadly did not win a release.
it did get played in sets by albert vorne, nico parisi, manu kenton, max walder, dj klems, dj youri(cherrymoon)!! me and a few more dj's i cant remember off the top of my head... so is worthy of a spin:) just not a release:(
HERE!
its a perc driven deep tech track..
i hope you enjoy it guys.

| like the percussion at the start, kick is nice and punchy, bass is wierd haha along with the filtering. likeing the perc here, seems cool, nice atmosphere too. buildup is slow, and not much really happens, its has a good feel but i dunno something dosent stand out to me. good work, nice mastering too i like that, keep onto it! |

Just listened to your remix...well-made production altogether but there positive/negative things there imho....let's see:
+:
- cool bassline
- nice buildup
- good percussion
-:
- the whole track could be a bit more varied
- the percussion is a bit loud (or is it just my headphones? :p )
- I feel it a bit empty here and there (but as a98 told me this is TECH-TRANCE :d)
7/10 for me.
Anyway, keep up the good work mate! |

cheers guys.
the track does lack variety and a main hook. many said to add a main hook but i wanted to keep it like this.. maybe ill add a big synth lead to it soon??
percs are quite loud. but when mixed with other trax i think they give the track its percussive flavour.
thanks guys:) |

mr kane - glad you enjoyed it mate. it means a lot
hey palm - i sent it but not joy.. i sent it quite early, without a few of the percs and the synths were even lower volume.. then i sent this version about three or four days before the deadline ended. thanks for the critique mate:)
cheers for replies. i hope some more people enjoy it.

Hey, thanx for the review...
This track has a bit of a proggy side-chain bassline. I adore that kick and background percussions (the background reverberations remind me of the 007 game for the N64 for some reason).
Maybe I'm not as perceptive, but the lo-fi-ishness makes the other percussions phatter. The Kick doesn't seem low-quality to me at all.
Pads in the background add enough variation to me, personally.
Minimalistic with a purpose at heart. Well produced, but I think the breakdown is a tad too long for club play -- or am I wrong. I love breakdowns, and I wish I knew their proper place in reference to different genres and atmospheres.
Granted, the variation wasn't quite there, the vibe certainly was.
Wasn't worthy of a release?!? I feel so insignificant now...
I'm keeping this mp3, sorry, but I really like this. |

Hey Rich!
You know what i think about it.
It's a very cool track, the perc's is really great!
I love that synth that is fading in around 1:40, it adds so much atmosphere, and it's so cool when it's fully open (no gating) in the break.
Great work with this! One of your best! |
