Our impact on others (aka how Domo-kun and Coup changed my life)

Have you ever analysed the impact of your actions on others? Even in the smallest possible things. Fads, memes of all sorts, attitudes...

Friday, my girlfriend and I were walking back to my place, and when we realised we would have exams next week, we both said in a loud voice:

"Raaaar!"

I'm not sure if any of you can understand the beauty of that moment. It wasn't just my girlfriend and I yelling a random syllable. It was a word that I had brought into the relationship back when we met - I'd say "raaar" whenever something bothered me.

However, it's not that simple. This "raaar" didn't just pop into my head. Previously, I had read Coup's custom status, which planted the concept of its rarness inside me. Soon after, I got to know what Domo-kun was, and then "raaar" was vocalised: it wasn't just an attitude, or a thought, it now had a sound too. My girlfriend, after hearing, also incorporated it into her vocabulary.

This is the situation, and I'm not going to conclude anything. Instead, I'm going to leave this to the Core, where this certain discussion would be more fruitful than in any serious place :)

Eli says things like "pwnd" and "deerh4x3d" and now "dick pump" from hanging around me, it's hilarious because he has no idea what he's talking about, yet he is still able to use it in perfect context.

Because of TA, I began using online terms in real life. My friends thought I was nuts... at the time. Then they hopped on the wagon after me (butsekz, deerhax, zomg, pwn - all terms they will use almost simultaneously as me). I conditioned them all to my whim. Muahahah.

i think "raar" was a sound long before it was either an attitude.. or a thought for that matter. :conf: :wtf:
