When my GF and I first started going out I went through a big dip in attracted-to-her-ness when she was always saying she didnt think she was good enough and she didnt think what she was thinking was interesting and...
its like, what exactly are you trying to convince me of here? That youre boring, cant think, and arent beautiful? keep saying it and ill believe you!
I had a chat with her about why thats unattractive she didnt go the other way, she just stopped with the negative stuff and would just say what she was thinking etc.
"nice" guys do the same thing. They dont make jokes because they dont think theyre funny, they dont give compliments because they dont want to be seen as "sexual predators" and in the end everything they are not doing is because they are feeling inadequate. and why would a girl want that.
So youre always trying to find out what will make her like you and then she never knows what to expect from you. Girls like simple :D
Ive come to the opinion that girls not liking you is God helping you out and not letting you date someone incompatible. Why date someone who doesnt like your jokes, thinks youre a rapist when you compliment them, and hates everything you do?
Thats what being yourself is. Its like hanging out with the guys, but be nicer and dont talk about the girl as a sexual THING but as a sexual BEING and youll be fine.
