Actually the maintenance part of the Atkins diet does allow carbs, you just have to be careful how much you consume...

Isn't it easier to eat right and stay active? Diets seem so unnecessary to me.

How is that possible??

That's over a pound a day!! :eyes: :wtf:

Yep. 600 calories a day and vitamin B6 and B12 injections. 7oz protine, 24oz vegtables (no starchy veggies), 1 slice of some really crappy low cal low carb bread, and two fruits (many restrictions on type of fruit) per day. Oh, and water.... lots and lots of water.... I think I was up to 8L per day. The whole program is medically supervised (see a nurse every second day and a doctor every second week).

It would seem that way but a lot of ppl ( much like myself) need an extra diet boost to speed their metabolism up in order to actually start losing weight just be eating healthy and staying active

Actually exercise is an extremely inefficient way to lose weight. Diet, a well structured diet, is the best way.

What worked for me...

I lost almost 28lbs in 3 months a few years ago and I ate whatever I wanted. My diet?

I ate less, and exercised.

That is what did if for me.... I don't watch what I eat anymore, just how. Once my metabolism was working in overdrive from the diet I just kept eating small amounts spread throughout the day... keeps the metabolism going constantly.

And metabolic enhancers are an even better way!

How do you motivate yourself to stick with it and not stray? It must take considerable will power to do this.

I find a cocaine bing is the best way.... expensive but it speeds the metabolism, supresses your appetite and you can't sleep so you stay active.
