I was surprised that the music was really good down there for your birthday. I got scared by the upstairs hip hop room when we walked in.

-plenty of space
-it's a COOL space
-couches/bar/candles/good drinks/kickin soundsystem
-intimate enough to feel at home there
-good music
-plenty of parking (just in case there are some outsiders comin on in)
-great location

I haven't been there since Noel Sanger, Madoka, and Zack played there, but I had heard that it was supposed to become a gay bar. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Are you being sarcastic, because I don't think it's really that uncommon in New York?

I looked up info on Citysearch and it says that it's closed - http://newyork.citysearch.com/profi..._0_profile_5_1. Same thing with NY Metro - http://www.newyorkmetro.com/listings/bar/table_50/
