Pure leaves Sound-Bar. Lineups for June and July

Now on to the future!! Our new Friday format will be a combination of a weekly event series plus special events at various sites.
PUREFTURE and Spy Bar are set to launch PUREFUTURE Fridays!!! We hope to bring to Chicago what has been happening in other cities such as New York, London, and Paris. The combination of world class music and artists with an intimate atmosphere. We will be featuring an all new sound system, new DJ booth, and many other production surprises! We are very excited about the possibilities here.
With this new Friday format you will also see more of the bigger name talent returning

Very interesting...
Anyone been there since they put in their new system? Supposedly a Dynacord Alpha (or something along those lines...)
Could be some nice dirty intimiate nights down there...and it will be guaranteed to be packed. A LOT of people are over Soundbar anyways... |

Spy-Bar's system is supposed to be the same one as in Space, Miami and apparently they are still not finished with yet and are adding some things to it. From what I understand - it will be one of the best if not the best sound system in the whole city by the time they are done.
The only thing that worries me is the capacity, Spy-Bar isn't very big and it already draws a sizable amount of people just for their local residents, I wonder if they can accomodate the influx of S-B people as well.
My only regret is the amount of free booze I'll be giving up at Sound-bar fridays. |

Hopefully by July 7th I'll be ready to party hard again! I'm sure I'll be out plenty before then, but since I can't booze or anything for over a month right now, I think Emerson on the 7th should be a great pre-Giant Village-for-mah-birthday bash!
