Just a little plug from one TA to another... :p
Hey everyone,
If you haven't heard the news, GameSpot will be providing a LIVE FREE WEBCAST of both the Sony E3 and Nintendo E3 Press Conferences next week.
I will be the operations manager of all of GameSpot's live webcasting throughout E3. We will be doing more than 25 hours of live webcasting throughout the week, although the webcasts from the E3 show floor on Wednesday through Friday are for paying subscribers only.

| Do you think the servers will slow down or crash considering lots of people are going to watch the free stream? |

I do not expect it. We have several backup plans in case GameSpot's servers have issues...beyond hitting GameSpot, once the player launches the connection for the webcast is hosted by Akamai, who is the largest streaming provider in the world (by far) and has done live events with upwards of one million simultaneous viewers.
They can handle it. :) |

| I also want to mention to everyone to checkout allgames.com durring the whole week at E3, They have a 24/7 live stream that plays video game music and they will be streaming a couple of live shows at the E3 Outpost, Which is located at the Arena Interactive Lounge in LA, You can also check out there live interactive webcam which is inside the Arena right here when its active. You can listen to there live stream right here. |

| hmmm well it could be delayed or it could be down to the stream then. been almost 30 mins now tho, and i cant imagine them delaying it all that much. Maybe gamespot didnt realise just how many of us geeks are out there! |
