When it comes to friends and even family all you can do is help them when they ask for help, make sure they have all the information they need to make an educated decision and let them make their desicion but even if you don't agree with their decision support it and be there for support. |
unless it's your kids, then you can ground them, spank them (actually wait is that still legal or do people get in crap for that now?), withhold allowances etc...
I don't have kids but 10 years from now.... :D oh gawd is it going to be interesting for me and them with some of the ideas I have brewed up. I plan on pulling various pranks and sneaking up on them (and shouting BOOO!) as some of the rough ideas of discipline. |

I generally do not worry about much...
2 things that were taught to me at a young age that help to keep the worrying to a minimum...
1. S*** in one hand and worry in the other and see which gets full first. Worrying will get you no where fast and in the end you are only hurting yourself.
2. You can't control the actions of others. You can simply control your reaction to said actions.
Most thoughts that create worry are self created and not the reality of the situation. People are too quick to jump to the negative conclusion. Once you learn to seperate yourself from most situations worrying goes away.
Concern and compassion are one thing and something I look for in friends. Worry as a trait can be very self destructive.
If everyone dedicated the time and energy they spend worrying to a worthwhile cause.. we could find the answer to world peace.. :p |

On a scale of 1 to 10.
1 being don't worry at all and 10 being worry all the time.
This question stems from the fact that I personally worry too much.
Worry meaning thinking about stuff going wrong and thinking about people's well being or thinking about consequences in general. |
the only thing you should be worrying about is how you are going to survive the crazyness that is going to take place next weekend! |

Does anyone else find it horribly awful that at the time
of this post, 50% of us voted at LEAST an 8??!!??:nervous:
50%!!! :sadgreen: :(
i really hope some of us can teach ourselves
to relax, cause it is something you can learn.
I mean whats there to REALLY worry about? :conf:
For me, the only thing that can possibly worry me is the health
of the 3 ppl i love most in the world - my 2 sisters and mom.
If they're healthy and alive, i am worry free.:)
I mean worrying!:whip:
Love life, love who you care about - in reality, thats all that matters:happy2: :D :gsmile: |
