Do you get along with your parents?

I had never really thought about it, until the day a girl I was trying to pull asked me this question (about 4 years ago)... I remember I was puzzled, looked at her straight in the eye, and after giving it some thought - and much to her surprise, I had to admit and say "No, they're loving parents, I'm a good son, but our relationship is almost null". 4 years have passed, and even though I'm at home trying to fix the situation, I'd still give a similar answer. That makes me wonder whether I'm ever going to be friends with them.
Anyway, what about you, do you get along with your parents? |

| i get along fine with my mother. i love both my parents. My dad expects much from me, I seem to disapoint him alot, so our relationship isnt very good. He is still supportive though |

i have a great relationship with my parents,. i think im finished with that teen years of hating ur rents.
i got nothing but love for them cause they supported me and didnt give up hope even when i was the biggest up. and now we both reap the benefits |

i didn't when i was a teenager..teenage angst i guess...
but now that i'm older i have grown to love my parents very much. they have been there for me thru some of the roughest times in my life and have loved me even when i thought i was the worst kid in the world. i'm lucky i guess to have such great parents in the end. |

I've always had an amazing relationship with both of my parents.
My dad is more of the business chit-chat, where are you going with your life, let's talk about manly stuff kind of person.
My mom is the most loving person on planet Earth.
It's a good mix. Without one I don't think I would fully appreciate the other.
I love both of them dearly, even though it's very difficult to say 'i love you' to my father....he's more of a hand shake kind of person. :wtf: |
