Its a catch22 with you people....if we go in to stop one thing (like terrorism) we are bad and are trying to police the world - but dont go in to stop another thing (like genocide) we dont do enough.

You would have a different view, i am sure, if you lived in one of those countrys where one day you could end up in a mass grave.

Hey, survival of the fittest, if they can't defend themselves then they shouldn't bitch if they are getting killed.

Put up or shut up.

whoa, dunno about that dude...

one soldier with an A.K. acting under a tyrant regime vs. 10 unarmed malnourished villagers aint really a fair fight...

but that doesnt mean im in support of havin america be a police force for every problem in every corner of the world...givin them the means to fight (weapons) is a decent idea...of course, then theres always a chance of that turning sour several decades down the line (umm afghanistan anyone?)

so if Bush is such a saint why isnt he stopping famines around the globe? It wouldnt take any military or needless death and everyone would praise him for it.

are you that blind?

Well...people are saying (maily liberals on here) that we should pack our bags and leave the Middle East because we will never kill or capture all of the terrorists. I am saying that, that is the same as saying forget capturing criminals in general since no matter how many we catch there will always be more.

Or its like forgetting to crack down on the drug problem. There will never be a time when there will be NO drugs...just like there wont be a time when there will be NO terrorists...does that mean we let the drug lords in and have them sell what they want? makes no sense.

i hug trees. that instantly makes me a terrorist sympathizer

But we didnt invade Iraq to fight terrorism. Terrorism turned up there after we invaded.

its too bad the rest of the country wasnt aware of that...or rather its too bad that they (they meaning we) were lead like blind sheep by the rhetoric of a barely comprehensible redneck cokehead...but oh wait, werent there WMD's in iraq? no? oh...

well the difference is funding. We as a country donate and send out a lot of volunteers to help other countries. Of course they dont carry guns so thats why you dont hear about them. Its annoying when ppl think the only aid the United States give is in the form of military power.
