They cause cancer. Considering cancer in Iraq has gone up 10 times since 1990, i consider DU a wmd.

theyre hazardous. Like most stuff shot at you at thousands of miles an hour. and mass destruction is wide spread. as in 1 thing does this to all these things. those are like....mass weapons of destruction. As in 10 million depleted uranium shells start to affect things.

invasion of someones country is wrong no matter what the media portray on t.v/radio. nothing justifies the war in iraq. they say its to remove dictatorship and stop the murdering of innocent civilians. then why not go to war against mugabe in zimbabwe as hes brutally murdering white farmers. why makes his dictatorship different from saddams?

Then you would know that I just countered every one of your points and proved you wrong.

srsly. America just needs to crush this pathetic world. The only real question is do we have the pure strength of will to do what is necessary?

OK, then counter my arguments, because from every bit of research I have done, not on the internet for the most part has made me come to those conclusions.

Your failure to counter them only suggests to everyone else that I am right.

Did you forget that all I do is study the Cold War, and Vietnam was a pretty ing huge part of the Cold War.

You don't study jack apperantly lol.

this was the first major conflict that could be nationally televised and once even war reporters saw the damage the media followed by the public support back home dropped like no tommorow.

then if you wanan get smacked in your face pick up Carnage and Culture : Landmark Battles in the Rise to Western Power where Mr. Hanson clearly outlines the point i've made over 60 pages of info ;).

Throughout, Hanson stresses the technology based lethality of Western warfare, and the role of individual initiative as opposed to the more collectivist strategies of the Persians, Carthaginians, Arabs, Turks, Aztecs, Zulus, Japanese and Vietnamese opponents who get a chapter apiece. The single Western defeat chronicled in these pages, of the Romans in Cannae in 216 B.C., shows a victorious Hannibal unable to capitalize on his win. (The idea of the citizen/soldier, the role of civic militarism and the republican ideals of Rome seem to be the reasons why not.) A number of Hanson's conclusions will engender debate, such as his claim that America won in Vietnam, but failed to recognize it, as well as the larger claim that "free markets, free elections, and free speech" have led directly to superior forces.
