I think tiesto is better. Straight up, His track selection and his energy that he is pushing drives me to sit on this damn computer for hours looking for his projects, sets, cd's,Videos and all types of ill . yeah, i will never be able to mix like either one and honestly i have two or three of S&D's compared to like 50 tiesto sets or compilations. So I guess i can't say to much about comparing the two I was just wondering what you guys (and girls) have to say.

I think you cannot compare them!!
tiesto plays uplifting
sasha&digweed play progressive...
you like uplifting and thatas why you think that way but you should compare djs who play the same type of music...
cosmix
i`m agree nothing to compare here..
anyway i like `em both :D

If you go by the number of fans each has (the more popular DJ in other words) -- would def. have to say
Sasha and Digweed
If you go by who has played in various locales around the world -- again
Sasha and Digweed
By DJing skills -- this is my opinion -- would have to say
Sasha
Track Selection -- all comes down to what type of music you prefer
BeatFreak
Well, okay. If Tiesto and S&D were playing separately on the same night in your town which would you go see?

Tiesto, for me.
I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed in Tiesto, he's become a lot more progressive, and his sets are pretty boring nowadays, I think. Still, if I had to choose between him and Sasha/Digweed, he definitely wins.

I dislike Sasha/Digweed and think that their music is very boring. When I listen to "dance music", I want something that energizes me, fills me with emotions, gives me goosebumps, makes me raise my hands in the air, and puts a smile on my face. I can't stand dance music that is weak, slow, mellow, or doesn't have a melody.

This is my opinion, and yours may differ from mine.

i like 'em both. it all depends on what kind of mood i am in. if i feel like going for the more uplifting tracks, i would go for tiesto. he has a nice selection of tracks and can get a set really moving. but if i'm in more of a progressive mood, i will definetly go for sasha and digweed. i love their style and they really know how to get a crowd moving. just my opinion

Stupid thread. You can't compare them at all. They are all exellent dj's, but in separate ways.
