Which ear do you use to cue?

I'm new here so i thought id start off with a question

So Left or Right?

Personaly i use my left ear to cue, ive noticed guys using their right ear is it any different or is it just what you find most comforadable?

Which ear do you hold a phone to? That's probably the ear you'll want to use natually.

i hold a phone to my right ear, but when i cue i use my left ear. i think its because the headphoen wire is on the left side.

+1 I have tested right ear too but I still prefer left ear.

Lol, it depends, if I'm cueing the left CDJ, then the right ear, if it's the right CDJ, then the left:p

Yeah it weird, I always seem to use left too...

There is a theory that vocals are best heard throught the right ear since the left part fo the brain processes language and speech, and the Brain's left/right is reversed.

For routine sound though I am not sure, maybe someone could help clear this up?

I know if your left brain develops earlier in childhood, you are almost certain to be right handed and right footed.

Likewise if your right side develops first your gonna be a left handed person.

Maybe there is no connection, but I cue with left but am right handed?

at the moment perhaps this a bigger issue that what ear you use, lol :haha:

i use both, i'm useless at one ear cueing

used left for 5 years but ive noticed its starting to sound not as clear as teh right so a switch is in order. im going deaf. :(
