Why would anyone need a Xone 92 for their bedroom?

What is the point of that Pana! :conf:

Its just a lot of money for a mixer, to a student. Can someone whos been in the same situation as me, or owns a xone 62, reassure or slap me straight.

Dude seriously you have an awesome mixer there is no need to get another mixer. In my opinion it is a complete waste of money to get another mixer so soon after buying this one. Especially when you are looking at a debatable "upgrade" especially for bedroom dj purposes.

that and you said you were happy with the DJM.

pioneer, biggest piece of mixers.

Xone 62, quality mixer, but the layout isn't that great, still a better overall mixer than the shoddy djm600 :D

Xone 92 is the winner.

BUT if you want the Novelty of the DJM600 and the QUALITY of the XONE, go an Ecler Nuo-5 ;)

I know i have an awesome mixer and i know ive only had it for 3 months. But last week i got my first dj gig, after only djing 3 months. A weekly job paying 180 a night. I just figure, i know how to use pioneer equip now, and would love to fiddle with the crazy filters and maybe add a pioneer efx later. And with the finances available its kinda a "why not".

That is unless there is something specifically wrong with the 62. I mean the 92 was created becasue of faults with the 62 right?

So forget how much of a waste of money it is :tongue2 and tell me if i buy a 62 i'll regret selling my 600 :D

the biggest advantage the xone's have is sound quality, if the rest of your system isn't up to that standard you aren't gaining much.
Dean Millson
Exactly.

The only real argument for a Xone 92 is the sound quality which does kill the djm 600. Having said that i have used both alot and satill prefer the 600 for its layout and it allows you to be alittle more innovative with effects etc.

Skip it all and go the DJM800! ;) Sound quality that pulls down its pants and s on the xone92, plus all the benefits of the 600's layout, feel and effects (plus some new ones) :)
