Nah not really, i basically walked around in a kilt with a couple of friends (seen here)
and we got talking to people, met the Mayor of Nova Scotia, got on radio,T.V, We ate soup and bread and fresh fruit and occasionally someone cooked for us. Somebody gave us honey and jam one day, We went from Nova Scotia to the Niagra falls then onto Toronto , It was the best experience of my life. We walked on average about 26 or 27 miles a day. We were gifted some food and other days we went without and we slept in a tent in peoples gardens or in the forest.
Toronto is an amazing City. I would do it all again in an instant, walking about in a kilt for miles and miles does give you really itchy balls though, and my feet were killing me... |

and i couldn't do that whole $40 dollars a day when travelling. i like to do it up and stay at nice places and eat at nice restaurants and shop. that's just me though. |
I guess the money you have will step up once you get done with school. I feel $40 per day is not bad to be honest with you...
One day Epicurus might be able to solve your finance issues ;) |

I feel bad for all the people who aren't pursuing their real dream because it might involve some risk taking and hard work.
Just me personally.
I'm going to study Fine Arts in a program that meshes Dig. Film, Dig. Audio & Dig. Graphics. I am pursuing my dreams. :) |

I've just completed my undergrad Biotechnology and now have started my PhD in biomedical science.
Yes its the field i want to be in, and my specialisation is what i want to be in, however at the same time looking long term i am looking away from the science and towards the more business side of things (or a mixture of both, business but still needing scientific knowledge and skills).
However to get to the business side of things I do have to go through the science, so really I'm happy with where I'm heading. |
