What Happened To The Crowd Noise In Sets?

Sets these days seem to be recorded straight from the mixer. I haven't heard a good quality set in a while with pure crowd noise.
Any recommendations? |

I hate crowd noise so much... Theres nothing worse than when your trying to enjoy a set and some fagnut is whistleing away like hes doing us a favor and helping out the DJ.

But crowd noises own!
LOVE them! Hearing peiple enjoying the night and going nuts for tracks they love. |

I agree. but there are times when crowd "noise" can be pure pwnage. an example of this is when Oakie turned off the sound in Silence on one of his EMs and the crowd sang along. thats crowd noise bliss right there... |

| I also have this really piss poor Hawtin set where it sounds like someone basically was sitting there amoungst the crowd with a microphone recording the set... You can hear the people yelling to each other over the tunes... |
