| It's probably true that without internet we would have more free time, but I don't think i'd want to give up having instant access to information (news, wikipidea, or even just searching with google). |

| If it wasn't for the internet I would be absent-minded to almost every song I know, and wouldn't be into the scene as much...and I wouldn't have met my clowns. :( |

I was reading a thread on pen pals- an ancient idea by now. For us anyway. It is reality for some people that still don't have access to the internet.

Travelling is so much easier with the internet. You can browse and book at ease. You can also find out about areas much easier. Its also great to instantly connect to people around the world for very little cost.
On the down side, internet means people hardly call each other anymore. Proper greeting cards are now forgetable e-cards. Music has lost it's value as well in the age of downloading. Many people are using the internet as a substitute for going out and physically engaging people.
If i had to weigh the pros and cons of the internet, id say that it is doing our society more harm than good and that we havnt fully realized that yet. |
