moe - creator - maus @ aria

That would be really sick!!

But what about this:

The Three M's and the event would be called the MiniMoeMaus show:

Mini: 2:00 - 5:00
Moevalith: 5:00 - 7:00
Maus: 7:00 - 10:30

----------------------

I'd LOVE to see this one day..

just for starters mate...just for starters:

once everyone is convinced that he is something else, he'd be perfect for 3-4 hour slot or even a Moevalith vs. Creator night where both of em spin 4 hours each. :disbelief

Ok review time.
I finally listened to this set 2 times back to back and really enjoyed it.The track selection was good and everything seemed to flow properly. No shaky transitions that i noticed, and it is actually a mix that i will keep on my hardrive.(this is saying alot as usually i listen to one and then dump it.;) .A perfect mix to listen to at home or have on as background while you do stuff.Good job man.

I know you guys all like this, but let me just add a little something.I want to see Moe booked at a club too, but in my opinion a set like this wouldnt cut it.Its great for listening, not so much for dancing.(Dont flame im just trying to help:p )Next time i think it would be really interesting to hear you mix a set that you think would destroy a dancefloor.Forget really interesting, do it now cause i wanna hear it.:p
Great job and cant wait for the next one.

I agree that some songs are not very danceable, M1D1 and Unpleasant Hardiscspace come to mind immediately....but dont you agree that Red Purple and the last track are dancefloor killers?

they would work man, but usually a dance floor killer has a bit more of a polished commercial sound;) You know i keep saying it, but every set needs a hint o cheese(or less unknown track),because not everyone in the clubs are edm junkies and you want to make their burger taste better too.;)

dancefloor killer=those tracks where people lift their heads up and smile, then proceed to dance like rabid animals.I admit its hard to find ones that fit your style, but im sure they are out there.Something beefy and really shakable...you know:D

A Dj is only really doing his job well if the bodies are moving.:tongue3

Look at Creator, id describe his style as underground dirty, but even he has dropped Filterfunk-SoS (Delano & Crocket)c du fromage, but the place went nuts;)

I listened to this set once, and ill definitly be playing it whenever i got the time. Ur material really is unique and certain elements within the set are incredibly interesting. Some melodic parts grabbed my attention instantly! :D

As for your style not suiting clubs... That really depends where Moe plays at and what gigs are offered to him. I dont see his style in any commercial club environment, but i definitly see it being played at a dark place, full of crazy "I love Holden" fans, enjoying particular sounds that regular club listeners dont notice. Stereo, Aria (with the lights way down), would be perfect places for him to get into the groove. Stereobar would be great, and im sure there are a few places around town that would be good for this kinda music.

Anyways man, u got talent, keep it up, i wanna hear more.

Salon Daome;)

this set is really amazing, defines moeva´s taste more than moeva´s style. he is indeed a dance floor killer, and knows for sure how to make us move (its been proved). but he also wants us to understand a [HIS] way of thinking. the way of the underdog, the one who competes only with himself in order to be better with every mix.
so it is a bit more loungy but im sure ur mind will appreciate the uniqueness of it.

to me, polished cheeZZZZZy sounds dont really make a dancefloor killer. dont get me wrong, they def raise the energy on the dance floor; but that is coz our empathy levels go up... A dancefloor killer is span by a polished mind (with a couple polished cdjs lol). when u hear this set ur brain reacts, some of us said they were instantly taken by some melodic parts... that is the real power of music, making your mind react. (thats why music is so important, coz when the mind reacts the heart feels and it is one of the rare moments in which we are one with feelings and thoughts... :p)
my fav track is def last track :eyes: hmmm track 7...
the only thing this set is lacking is an 11th track  lool enjoyed the filters but damn i like the loops!! :whip:

enjoy the music, enjoy the work;
its our music and our work!

Just realize that that 90% of people even in afterhours have no clue about the music,by who its made,or even the emotion it tries to capture.
I really enjoyed this set, so dont think im tearing into it.What i wrote is only my opinion and I dont think i bashed it.Juan i get what you are saying, but like i stated before, there is a huge chunk of the people that spend the money in clubs and keep them open who dont share that viewpoint.I also thought that this thread honestly didnt have enough or if any constructive criticism, and believe it or not i think that having a bit is a good thing.Nothing wrong with saying good mix, but is it perfection?(hint hint, nothing is perfect in life.)I know most of the people who have posted comments love At The Controls. It is a great mix to listen to, but if you see Holden in the club he maintains some of that integral style but still changes it up for dancefloor friendly purposes;) .Trust me on this, I've seen quite a few dancefloors in my time, and some pretty insane reactions on them.Moe can remain true to his style and still churn out some stuff that will get the masses sweaty and smiling.;)
I'm not hating on Moe guys, like i said before i just have a little more respect than to utter Hey nice mix, great stuff, keep it up.
He put this up so he could know what people really thought and this is what i gave:D

ps isnt dancefloor energy how you judge what a dancefloor destroyer is?;)
